All members, guests and newcomers are invited to attend the ANZA Coffee Morning, held on the third Thursday of every month at 9.30am. A forum for sharing Manila survival skills, and beginning and renewing friendships, - it is a very positive experience much enhanced by the attendance of "long timers" and newcomers. It is your surrogate family where your trials will be understood and your triumphs applauded...where people "understand"!!! , members are quick to encourage participation in the varied life of this big city. If you don’t have transport please still ring to see what we can arrange.

Each Wednesday morning we spend an hour and a half of JOY and HEARTACHE with children from the Sisters of Charity orphanages in Tondo. Special talents needed are love, laughter, compassion and a sense of the ridiculous as well as lots of hugs to share and time to spare. Your visitors and good ideas are also welcome.
If you enjoy sewing in a social setting, come to the ANZA sewing and craft mornings, a relaxed, informal couple of hours where you can “stitch and chat”, catch up with old friends and make some new ones. Longtimers, newcomers and occasional drop-ins all welcome, every Tuesday morning starting at 10am. It’s a relaxing morning with friends at Dot’s place in Salcedo Village. You are welcome to stay for lunch but please bring your own sandwich.

If you are newly arrived in town, or have not yet done it, remember to register your blood type. The ANZA Blood Donor Registration is run on a (purely) volunteer basis and is vital to our community. Here in the Philippines, there is no guarantee that the blood donated to the privately owned blood bank is properly screened for contamination. All information on the registration form will be treated as confidential. If you don't know your blood type, we can arrange for testing.
Need some extra plates for your entertaining? ANZA has a large store of crockery, glassware, cutlery, linens, ice-boxes and assorted items for hire. Very reasonable rates!
